Project Y Screen 2021

Being involved in YDance’s 'Project Y Screen' in the summer of 2021 was a hugely interesting and rewarding experience. During this week-long intensive online course, myself and four other dancers worked together with choreographer and screendance artist, Natalia Barua, to create a short dance film called ‘who we really are’, about the tension between being our truest selves and the person we curate for the world. Each day was packed with movement, learning, creative tasks and filming all from our own homes and local areas.
